Private Cremation is a cremation procedure during which only one animal’s body is present in the cremation unit during the cremation process.
A Communal Cremation is a cremation procedure where multiple pets are cremated together without any form of separation. Cremated remains are not returned
Step 1:
A personal identification band is place on your pet the moment your pet is transferred to our care and a Pet Cremation Authorization form is submitted.
Step 2:
Your pet is logged into facility logbook. Your pet is assigned a cremation identification number which has been stamped onto a metal tag. This cremation identification number is used to track every step of this process.
Step 3:
When your pet is placed in the cremation chamber the cremation identification number metal tag is placed on the control panel of the cremation chamber during the cremation process
Step 4:
After the cremation is completed and the cremains have cooled they are swept out and placed in temporary container with cremation identification number metal tag.
Step 5:
Your pet’s cremated remains are carefully placed into a processor where the cremains are ground to the consistency of powdery sand and immediately placed in plastic storage bag and the cremation identification number metal tag is securely attached.
Step 6:
In the assembly area your pets remains are matched and placed in your pets pre labeled urn containing cremation identification number and then placed in pre-assembled package along with your pets Certificate of Cremation (not state certified) bearing your pet’s name, owner’s name, cremation date and cremation identification number, and your pets paw print
Step 7:
Your pet is transferred to staging area and You will be notified in a text message or phone call that your pet is ready for you to pick-up. (The cremation scheduling process only allows for a maximum of 8 pets per day, it may take up to 4 weeks)
